Kevin Guilfoile

Kevin Guilfoile was born on July 16 in 1968 in Teaneck, NJ. He was a creative director,
essayist, humorist, and novelist. He has written at least three books.
Cast of Shadows was published in 2005. It was selected as one of the best books of that
year by both the Kansas City Star and the Chicago Tribune. It has been translated into
more than 15 languages (the book was released in Australia under the name Wicker). The
book is set in the near future and tells the story of Dr. Davis Moore, whose daughter
was raped and killed. Dr. Moore uses the murderer's DNA to clone him and raises the
boy himself in an effort to get to know the killer and perhaps find him. The blog
sffworld.com reviewed the book and said "there are many twists and turns and things
you will never see coming . . . Nothing at all is predictable in this striking novel."
