Lewis Niles Black was born on August 30, 1948 in Washington, D.C. He is a playwright,
stand-up comedian, master of ceremonies, television personality, voice for cartoon
characters, and author of humor books. He has written at least three books.
I'm Dreaming of a Black Christmas was published in 2010. Black takes a curmudgeon's
view of Christmas in this humorous rant against all things associated with the holiday.
