Emilie Richards

Emilie Richards was born on July 12, 1948 in Bethesda, MD. She has been a
mental-health therapist and a Head-Start coordinator as well as the author of
romance and mystery novels. She has written over fifty books.
Dragonslayer was published in 1993. It won the 1994 Romance Writers of America
RITA award. It also received a 5 Star review from Romantic Times magazine.
It tells the story of Reverend Thomas Stonehill, who struggles with a personal tragedy.
He meets Garnet Anthony, a maternal health nurse who is someone unlike anyone
he has ever met before. Melinda Helfer of Romantic Times wrote: "Innovative plots
can often open gateways for an author, but they can never take the place of the gifts
of the human experience that the very best books bring to our hearts. Every reader
has their own set of 5s, books that have significantly influenced the way they look
at the world. Without question, Dragonslayer is one of mine."
