Patrick Rothfuss

 


Patrick Rothfuss was born on June 6, 1973 in Madison, WI. He is an author of sci-fi fantasy
fiction, gamer, and charity organizer. He has written two books.
The Name of the Wind was published in 2007, the first Kingkiller Chronicle Book. It won
a Quill Award and was listed among Publishers Weekly's Books of the Year. Amazon
describes it as a: ". . . story of a hero told in his own voice. It is a tale of sorrow, a tale of 
survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and that search, and the
indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend."
