John F. Kennedy

John F. Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline, MA. He was a politician,
serving in the House, Senate and as President. He is credited with writing three books.
Profiles in Courage was published in 1956 and won the Pulitzer Prize. It tells the stories
of eight senators who went against the tide of public opinion held by their constituents
and their party to follow their own guidance regarding what was right, even though
it cost them dearly. Although not given credit, Ted Sorensen is believed to have
contributed heavily to writing the book.
