Jody Lynn Nye was born on July 5, 1957 in Chicago, IL. She has been a freelance
journalist, photographer, and now writes fantasy science fiction. She has written
and collaborated on over a hundred books and articles.
Mythology 101 was published in 1990 and is the first in the Mythology Series
of four books. They are considered to be humorous, contemporary fantasies.
Mythology 101 is about a college business major (Keith Doyle) who discovers that
there is a whole group of magical elves occupying the library building,
which is getting ready to be torn down. Their leader, The Master, has been
helping students at the college pass difficult classes. One Amazon reviewer wrote
