Benerson Kile Little was born on July 30, 1959 in Key West, FL. He was in the navy,
and is the author of mainly nonfiction, including naval history and piracy. He has
written at least six books.
The Buccaneer's Realm: Pirate Life on the Spanish Main, 1674-1688 was published
in 2007. This book focuses on the physical and cultural life of pirates during the
late 1600s. Pirate's Magazine wrote: "This in-depth treatment proves to be not
only very illuminating, but fascinating as well, and conveys pointedly the
uniqueness of that period of world history . . . recommend it highly to anyone
else interested in those strange times."
